THE CAPTAINS

Steve Dall
Steve DallCaptain
Captain Steve grew up fishing in the Lake County area lakes north of Chicago and then ventured north to the world famous Vilas County area of the northwoods of Wisconsin with family and friends. His Tom Sawyer-esque adventures had him battling the muskies, bass and walleyes that inhabited the fertile glacier lakes of the north. It was here that his passion for fishing truly erupted from a childhood addiction to a career in the fishing industry. At the age of 19, he became a licensed guide both in the state of Wisconsin and Illinois.

His angling passion and pursuit of a year-round guiding venture, relocated him to Southwest Florida after the turn of the new millennium, where he has spent his time primarily targeting the indigenous inshore and nearshore species of Estero Bay and the 10,000 Islands region.

Captain Steve is a monthly and weekly feature writer for Florida Sportsman Magazine and their online fishing report forum for our area, member of the National Association of Charterboat Operators, the Florida Guides Association and brings unique presentations to his educational seminars.
